The quenching machine

The new quenching plant at Walzwerke Einsal went into operation in 2021. In addition to excellent results, the material manufactured on the system impresses with its excellent straightness, individually controllable cooling parameters, adjustable outlet temperatures and variable cooling and dwell times.

The result: Individually heat-treated steel with mechanical properties tailored to the requirements and with excellent straightness.
During the heat treatment process, the rods are heated to their target temperature and then individually controlled.
The system is state-of-the-art and is already impressing the first customers and new projects in the steel production processes.
